About the Project
For our Voki Book Review project, each student chose a book to write a short summative review on. They included components such as: Title, Author, genre, summary, and their recommendation for the book. They wrote their review, edited their reviews and then practiced saying them out loud. Once they were ready, the students recorded their book reviews using GarageBand and exported the .mp3 file to their folders. At that point, they logged into their own accounts at www.voki.com/classroom and created an avatar to look like themselves. They uploaded/attached their .mp3 audio file to their avatar to complete the project. The students did a great job during the planning and production process of this. They were excited each and every time they came to Info Tech class anticipating getting to work on their Voki project. I'm very proud of all of the 4th graders on a job well done! This website can also be explored by students in other classes to get ideas on books they might enjoy reading as well! We hope you enjoy exploring the reviews below.
